  Zagora retains its initial division into four districts of Agia Paraskevi (Perachora), Agia Kyriaki, St. George and the Transfiguration.

The
economy is mainly based on the cultivation and marketing of apples "ZAGORIN" to become predominantly from the Cooperative of Zagora. It is the first export apple body in the country since 1982 and currently has over 750 members with excellent infrastructure.

In all there Zagora Services Public and Private giving instant coverage of every tourist or guest.

At 7 km from Zagora, one can reach the beach of Horefto, one of the prettiest and biggest coastal beaches of Pelion, where there are all kinds of shops, restaurants and clubs able to accommodate large crowds.

Zagora near the same distance of about 7 km, lies Puri, a picturesque mountain village, with paths, flora and fauna and an equally beautiful view over the Aegean.

Today Zagora is the largest village. It has 3,500 inhabitants and is located in northeast amphitheater slopes of Pelion at an altitude of 450 to 550 meters.

Serve any access road (Intercity Bus) by car from Volos by 2 roads: Portaria - Chania 47 km away from Volos, and through Tsagarada 80 km from Volos.
